| Description: | IPG Opto-Mechanical Technicians will assemble lasers and laser delivery systems according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of optics and mechanics. |
| Duties: | • procuct/component level assembly
• optical alignment
• testing of optical and laser components
• full range of technical assembly of precision opto-mechanical components
• cleaning and inspecting optics
• trouble shooting
• repair
|
| Qualifications: | • AS in Opto-Mechanical or Optics preferred, or equivalent experience required
• Must have 3 – 5 years experience in optics
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Data entry skills |
